To earn the CISR designation, you must complete any five of the nine core courses and pass the five exams within three years. Then, to keep your designation, you must update each year with additional continuing education courses offered by the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance. The William T. CISR to CIC Cross-Credit Program:
The Risk & Insurance Education Alliance has launched a new Cross-Credit Program to streamline the path for CISRs to continue on and earn the prestigious CIC designation. For more information, click here.
Registration Fees Including CE:
$179 per person through May 29, 2026 | $190 per person beginning June 1, 2026
CE Credit:
Each Instructor-led CISR class is approved for 7 hours of Indiana CE. CE for other states may vary. For questions on CE, email [email protected]
Exam:
The exam window will be open for one week following the class. All exams are online and require a proctor. For someone to serve as your proctor, they must meet the definition of a disinterested third-party. To learn more about exam proctoring and accessing your exam see the CISR Exam Directions & Proctor Requirements.
*If you are attending this class ONLY for CE and/or CISR designation update credit, you DO NOT need to take an exam.
